Chal Deboris

   Chal Deboris, a proud native of Philadelphia, PA, spent his childhood immersed in his twin passions of writing and sports. Despite his fervent interests, he chose to dedicate himself to the United States Marine Corps immediately after completing high school, serving loyally from 2007 to 2013 and earning an Honorable Discharge.
       

       Following his military service, Chal's life took an unexpected turn when he was wrongfully convicted and sentenced to a ten-year prison term. However, his unwavering resilience and positive mindset enabled him to focus on his passion for writing. During his incarceration, he penned an impressive collection of 8 books.

        Nevertheless, in November 2022, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals overturned his conviction and ordered his immediate release. Upon his release from prison, Chal celebrated a remarkable milestone by publishing his debut novel, "Rebirth of a Rebellion." This captivating dystopian narrative promises to enthrall readers and keep them eagerly perched on the edge of their seats.
